Mount Vernon, OH – Conservative activist and Republican attorney Scott Pullins, today endorsed the Ohio Medical Right to Refuse Amendment www.MedicalRight2Refuse.com . Pullins is a Republican candidate for the Ohio House in the newly drawn District 98. District 98 includes most of Knox County and all of Coshocton and Holmes Counties.
The Ohio Medical Right to Refuse Amendment is a citizen-initiated state constitutional amendment proposal. If enacted, it would codify in the Ohio state constitution a citizen’s right to refuse any medical procedure, treatment, injection, vaccine, prophylactic, pharmaceutical or medical device. It is being proposed by grassroots group Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom www.OhioAMF.org . “This proposed amendment is being brought forward because legislators like my opponent Darrell Kick refused to even take a vote on HB 248,” said Pullins. “Instead of siding with the thousands of people that testified in support of HB 248, Darrell sided with leftist bureaucrats and woke corporations.” Scott Pullins is an Ohio attorney, charter school board member, political consultant, and writer. He provides services to small businesses, individuals, financial entities, and political organizations. Scott Pullins has advised clients on complex legal, business, marketing and public policy issues. He is also the co-founder of the Ohio Taxpayers Association. This is conservative house candidate Scott Pullins. In his latest expensive mailing paid for by the Ohio Republican Party, my opponent, RINO Darrell Kick, says he will take on the government bureaucrats. Do. Not. Be. Fooled. When our businesses and jobs were being eliminated during COVID, Darrell sided with big woke corporations and leftist bureaucrats. He refused to support common sense legislation like HB 248 and he let state government shut down our state. I fought hard for my small business and individual clients. And unlike Darrell, I will never support mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and vaccine passports. When it hits the fan, we cannot count on Darrell Kick. “I believe medical freedom is the ability to make your own medical choices, in conjunction with your doctor and or anyone else free from governmental or business mandates or requirements,” stated Pullins. “I believe it also includes the right to try experimental or alternative treatments. I utilize Eastern Medicine and lobby for the Ohio Acupuncture Association.” “My opponent, Darrell Kick, opposes Medical Freedom,” continued Pullins. “Darrell Kick also opposes your right to use alternative treatments like Marijuana and Kratom. I FULLY support Medical Freedom.” Scott Pullins is an Ohio attorney, charter school board member, political consultant, and writer. Hello, this is Scott Pullins, Republican Candidate for State Representative in the new 98th District. Due to various court decisions, the Republican primary for state legislative and state central committee positions is being held on August 2, 2022. You will shortly be receiving a mailing from me with all of the deadlines and information on how to easily request an absentee ballot. I know you will probably be busy on August 2nd, but these races are vitally important. We must have rock solid, constitutional conservatives, like myself, in these seats to protect our fundamental second amendment rights. I don’t care what Joe Biden says, the 2nd amendment was not designed for deer hunting, it was to protect us against oppression from external and internal threats. I’m a lifelong gun owner and collector. I represent firearms owners in my law practice and I’m a longtime concealed carry license holder. Again, this is Scott Pullins, Conservative Republican for State Representative. Please visit my website at www.scottpullins.org that’s www.scottpullins.org . s c o t t p u l l i n s. Thank you. -30- Mount Vernon, OH – Today, Governor Mike DeWine awarded a second round of grants to local law enforcement agencies totaling $2 million as part of the Ohio General Assembly funded Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program. The second round of grants is part of a $58 million program funded primarily by ARPA funds received from the federal government. Funding will be primarily used to recruit, retain, and hire law enforcement officers.
Knox County Republican Scott Pullins, who is running for the Ohio House in the newly drawn District 98, today blasted State Representative Darrell Kick (R) – Loudonville, for voting against this program through his vote against HB 169 that created it. Pullins said he would not only have voted for HB 169, but would also have cosponsored it. “Darrell Kick needs to explain to the voters in Coshocton, Holmes, and Knox counties why he voted against providing grants to local law enforcement to combat violence,” said Pullins. “If this bill hadn’t passed, then the money would have been sent to states like California and New York instead.” “Unlike RINO Darrell, I will never vote to defund our local first responders,” continued Pullins. “Darrell Kick says he is a conservative Republican, but he voted like a member of Black Lives Matter or other anti-cop, far left groups.” Scott Pullins is an Ohio attorney, charter school board member, political consultant, and writer. He provides services to small businesses, individuals, financial entities, and political organizations.
