I was please today to sign the following declaration:

AMERICA’S Declaration OF ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are the inalienable Rights in our Declaration of Independence. We fought for and secured these Rights and grew a nation bountiful in natural resources. The ingenuity and hard work of the American people have brought us to another self-evident truth: Energy Independence is within our grasp.

Affordable, clean, and abundant energy is the birthright of every American.

These domestic treasures should benefit the daily lives of our people and solidify our security for generations to come. Natural gas makes this possible now, not decades in the future. Its benefits will be felt throughout American society:

Affordable Energy for Our Families. From the jobs created to lower utility bills and cleaner air, affordable energy is fundamental to economic prosperity for all. It is a moral imperative to provide for families who are most vulnerable to increases in their energy budgets.

Clean Energy for Our Environment. We lead the world, by a wide margin, in cutting CO2 emissions. America’s natural gas is the fiscally-sound, reliable and environmentally responsible bridge to our energy future.

Abundant Energy for Our Future. Technology and exploration have guaranteed that America has a continuous 100-year supply of natural gas and the potential for even more.
Domestic Energy for Our Security. The use of domestic natural gas discovered, produced, and refined in the U.S. makes certain America is no longer dependent on rapidly changing global markets and unstable or hostile countries.

We, the undersigned, are committed to achieving the above goals and establishing America’s Energy Independence for the lasting good of our nation and future generations.

ICYMI: My Podcast Interview With The Ohio Star

I was recently interviewed by National Political Editor of The Star News Network Neil W. McCabe on his podcast.  On it we talked redistricting, my campaign for state representative, and my work on behalf of members of the Ohio Republican State Central Committee that are alleging corruption at the Ohio Republican Party.  My segment starts at around the 23 minute mark but the rest of the podcast is pretty cool too.

You can listen by clicking the link here.  Thank you.

Scott Pullins Calls for Officials to Appeal Redistricting Decision to the U.S. Supreme Court and Move Primary

Mount Vernon, OH – Longtime conservative Republican leader Scott Pullins of Knox County, Republican candidate for the Ohio House, today called on state Republican leaders to appeal the latest redistricting decision to the U.S. Supreme Court and to move the primary.  Pullins filed for the Ohio House in House District 98 which would consist of all of Knox County and parts of Holmes and Morrow County.

“There is no legislative map that will ever satisfy the far-left Democrat activists on the redistricting commission and the Ohio Supreme Court,” stated Pullins.  “The only answer is to appeal this decision to the U.S. Supreme Court and move Ohio’s primary to July or August.”

“There simply isn’t time to design a brand new map in the narrow timeline that remains,” continued Pullins.  “That’s especially the case when Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and his political supporters are yucking it up in Los Angeles at the Super Bowl while the courts’ clock ticks.”

The primary election date can only be moved via action from the Ohio General Assembly.  State officials can then ask for a stay of the Ohio Supreme Court’s deadlines pending appeal and the primary move.

Scott Pullins Files Petitions to Run for the Ohio House

2/2/2022

Mount Vernon, OH – Longtime conservative Republican leader Scott Pullins of Knox County has filed petitions today to run for the GOP nomination for the Ohio House of Representatives.  He will run in the newly redrawn House District 98 which consists of all of Knox County and small parts of Holmes and Morrow County.

“Voters in Ohio House District 98 now have a choice, a more conservative and freedom loving choice,” said Scott Pullins.  “The Ohio Republican Party and Columbus politicians want to pick our legislators for us.  I say that we let Republican voters decide this race instead.”

The Ohio Republican Party is expected to endorse State Representative Darrell Kick from the 70th House District for House District 98 on Friday.  Mr. Pullins has not been permitted to screen or even attend the endorsement meeting on Friday.  Additionally, Darrell Kick has never lived in or represented Knox County, but he was narrowly drawn into the district by the Ohio Redistricting Commission.

“My top priority is to restore the Ohio House, the peoples house, as a separate, but EQUAL branch of state government,” continued Pullins.  “Too many legislators, including Darrell Kick, have sat on their hands for nearly two years and let Mike DeWine govern Ohio like a liberal Democrat.”
