Mount Vernon, OH – Longtime conservative Republican leader Scott Pullins of Knox County has formally announced that he is running for the Ohio House of Representatives.  The number and the final outline of the district is not yet set because the Ohio Supreme Court threw out the redrawn districts.

Pullins said his first action in office will be to sponsor a constitutional amendment to throw out Ohio’s new process for redistricting.  “Our system for drawing statehouse districts has worked well for my entire lifetime,” said Pullins.  “The mess that we’re in now is what results when you hand over this authority to liberal special interest groups and left wing judges.  Democrats couldn’t beat us at the ballot box so now they’ve gone to court to try.”

Pullins added that his other priorities would be to pass a Health Freedom Bill that would outlaw mask and vaccine mandates and vaccine passports. He also stated that we need more legislation to prevent any future governors from abusing their authority like Governor DeWine did.

“Mike DeWine has governed this state like a liberal Democrat from New York or California,” stated Pullins. “And too many members of the Ohio General Assembly have set on their hands and collected their paychecks and watched it happen.”

Pullins’ other priorities are education reform. This would include more school choice options and outlawing the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT).

Scott Pullins is an Ohio attorney, charter school board member, political consultant, and writer. Scott Pullins has advised clients on complex legal, business, marketing and public policy issues. He is also the co-founder of the Ohio Taxpayers Association. He is a charter school board member and an elected member of the Knox County Republican Central Committee.

Mr. Pullins attended Ohio University and earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School.  Pullins’ 18 year old daughter, Alaina Quinn Pullins, will manage his campaign.  Ms. Pullins is a senior at Mount Vernon High School. I am Richard Morckel of Akron, Ohio and I agree with your intentions to sponsor a constitutional amendment to throw out Ohio’s new process for redistricting called Congressional Redistricting Procedures Amendment that was passed in a poorly voted in the Ohio 2018. primary. Note that loose voting rules does not help and did nothing for election integrity. ...The Congressional Redistricting Procedures Amendment was intended to weaken the power of the voter and representative government and when it failed, the nefarious Ohio Supreme Court stepped in with an arbitrary ( no constitutional authority) ruling of, the district lines are unfair, meaning the voters have no representation without their vote being conditioned. I am Richard Morckel and started to collect signatures in western Summit County, Medina County, and a few from the west part of Cuyahoga County for Ohio's 13th District US House. [email protected]
