Mount Vernon, OH – Knox County Conservative Republican leader and attorney Scott Pullins of Knox County has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge from American for Tax Reform. Pullins is the front runner for the Republican nomination in the 98th Ohio House District. The district includes all of Coshocton and Holmes Counties, and most of Knox County. He ran against incumbent Darrell Kick in the August 2022 primary and lost by just 684 votes.
“As the former Ohio Director of the National Taxpayers Union and as Co-Founder of the Ohio Taxpayers Association, I know how vitally important this pledge is to limiting government,” said Pullins. “I’m proud to be the first candidate in Ohio House District 98 to sign this pledge.”
The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is managed by Americans for Tax Reform www.atr.org. It was first endorsed by President Reagan in 1986. It’s a written promise from a candidate to their constituents to oppose any and all tax increases.
